News Reader Set-up OUTLOOK EXPRESS

1. FIRST STEP IS BECOMMING A MEMBER <HERE>
   
   
2. Click on this link to open the Outlook Express Wizard ls.rxdentistry.com
   
   
3. You will be promted for your "Display name". This is the name others will see.
   
   
4. Press the "Next" button
   
   If you have any questions feel free to ask RXDentistry Administration.

You should now see the Internet Accounts menu in Outlook Express.

1. Enter your email address that people can reply to you at.
   
   
2. Press "Next"

1. Enter the Internet News Server Name: ls.rxdentistry.com
   
   
2. Make sure to check "My news server requires me to log on" otherwise you won't be able to enter your login and password for step 6.
   
   
3. Press "Next".

1. Enter your RxRoots username & RxRoots password

2. Check "Remember Password"
   
   
3. Click "Next"

1. Congratulations - You're done! Click Finish! (See Below)

1. You will be asked to download newsgroups for your new account

A few moments later (depending on the speed of your Internet connection) you will be presented with a list of discussion lists available on the server.

1. Highlight the group(s) you want to subscribe to on the left.
   
   
2. Click "Subscribe" on the right.
   
   
3. Click "OK" to return to the main Outlook window.

Treat your newsgroup as another "in-box".

1. Click on a newsgroup on the left
   
   
2. Click (or double click) on a message on the right (click the '+' sign to drop down email correspondance)
   
   
3. Read the messages below

When you are in reading the newsgroup, you can reply like you would to a regular email, and your can create a new message like you would a regular email.
